Working in Nature

Chainmail Cabochon Around a "Varanus Griseus Griseus"

I collect most of the objects about reptiles, bugs and insects so people who know my passion bring me such pieces. Few days ago my uncle brought me a coin with a Varanus Griseus Griseus. ınstead of putting it aside, I made a chainmail cabochon around it and started to use.

Handmade Baby Dragon

I like working with clay very much. Especially in times of problems, it is a good way to escape from thoughts and all the boredom. I tried to make a mini dragon this time. I used normal clay (not polymer clay) and I air-dried it. Then handpainted and varnished.

I made this dragon eyes by using various materials such as foam, clay, metal scales and glass. Back part is covered with eva and it has a strong magnet attached. The dimensions are app. 4.5 x 6 cm. Most people find these eyes weird but still I love them :)

No Plain T-Shirts in Summer

You can't wear much on summer except for thin t-shirts or halter-tops and I love decorating these plain pieces with fancy yet elegant accessories. From time to time I make shoulder chains and body harnesses for that reason and here is one of them:

Peaceful Weekend In Nature

In my previoust posts I shared some pictures from Sile, a seaside town close to Istanbul. I spent the weekend with my family there again and had a silent, peaceful & enjoyable holiday. Here are some shots from there.
