Snails Hidden in the Backyard

Pin It       We come across these small creatures almost everyday, especially after rain, but unfortunately most of them are not so lucky to come across human beings since it means a giant foot on them. Therefore in rainy days I spend a good amount of time to pick snails on the road to prevent them from turning to jelly and dying in a dramatical way.
All in all, I like snails, I like their gentle, hesitant movements along with their curious faces. So what do I do as usual? Make some snails myself :) Here is my hand-painted version with clay and glass marbles:

Handmade Baby Dragon

Pin It       I like working with clay very much. Especially in times of problems, it is a good way to escape from thoughts and all the boredom. I tried to make a mini dragon this time. I used normal clay (not polymer clay) and I air-dried it. Then handpainted and varnished.

Pin It       I made this dragon eyes by using various materials such as foam, clay, metal scales and glass. Back part is covered with eva and it has a strong magnet attached. The dimensions are app. 4.5 x 6 cm. Most people find these eyes weird but still I love them :)
