Cross-Stitch Bug: Pyrrhocoris

By this time 1.5 billions of insect species were discovered and scientists suppose that there are at least 15 billions more of them waiting to be discovered.
This means I have a lot more to do.. :)

Here is a Pyrrhocoris:

My Attribute: Bugs & Insects (And Always a Work in Progress :)

Pin It       As you know by now I am very fond of making cross-stitch works with rather rare designs. This one seems to be one of my favorites with a big bug pattern. But for now it is an unfinished work in progress:

Felt & Lace Together II

Pin It       I kind of like this felt and lace combination so it seems I will work a bit more on these wrist bands. Here is another one in black and white colors:

Wire Ballerinas

Pin It       I have been dealing with my translation works and readings lately so I wasn't able to do much handworks. Here are some examples of the few ones I made: Ballerinas made of colored wire.
I stuck them in tealight candles but they can also be hung with a thin nylon thread as well

New Series of Black & White Illustrations - No.I

Pin It I started to work on a new illustration theme: Framed victorian-gothic portraits. Following is the final product of my first attempt and my working space:

At the backround you can see the rest of my art supplies that I use for painting rocks or some other surfaces but for my illustrations I use mostly ink. (Yes, as usual my tarantula "Safir" is also there:)

Weekend Home-Atelier

In the weekends I like spending time mostly at home and working on my chainmails and artworks or reading because unfortunately I have less time for these in the weekdays since I work. I also like going out at nights with my friends or family so I try to be productive and enjoy myself in the day. Every weekend, after waking up early and going out for a walk on the seaside for a few hours, I like coming home, having a good breakfast, maybe watching a movie and then starting to work on my things. It doesn't sound so attractive but when you wake up early, you have time to do these all so I prefer that way.
Here is a picture of my working space from this last weekend (I hope I will share the final products soon:)
