The best part of making chainmail is to be able to learn tens, even hundreds of different patterns changing from culture to culture. I also try to practise as much patterns as I can. Here are the latest ones I made:

Handmade Chainmail Shoulder Bag

I like making limited number of everything so I avoid making huge number of the same model, same pattern, same design etc. This bag is also one of a kind (in my shop at least:) and I finished it quite a long while ago. Yesterday I took it out of its place and had a dark brown stripe attached to it. So here is the final product ready to use:

New Work in Progress: Dragon Skin Scale Maille

Finally my scales have arrived and I immediately started my new work. I am making this accessory to a very unique opera singer so what it will turn out to be is kind of a surprise for now. :) I like these scales and the dragon-skin-like final products so much.
