Today I visited one of my best friends and we had kind of a workshop together. She draws doodles and illustrations and she drew today while I was busy with my rings and chains. Here is today's final work:

A New Trial: Scalemail + Knitting

Pin It       I have been searching for the different techniques to make scalemail accessories and knitting is one of them. You just mix normal yarn knitting with scales and here is a spoiler of my first piece (I know, what it is gonna be is not so clear:) By the way, these matt gold colored scales are very cool I think.

Stage Accessory - Scale Maille Glove for Nuri Harun Ates

Pin It       Few days ago I shared a scale maille work in progress and told you that it was for a special person, a very talented opera singer. He is Nuri Harun Ates and here is the final product that I made for him :) By the way I wasn't exaggerating by qualifying him as a special person because he really has an amazing voice and makes a very unique music combining opera pieces and classical Turkish pop longplays, so I really recommend you to check out some of his performances.
       Finally the glove is finished and was used as by him in his concert performance last night so it is my turn to show off ;) It is made of chains, rings and scales as you see.
